Arch Enemy Synopsis

Author's Note: This a retelling of the conclusion of the trilogy, The Looking Glass Wars. I wrote this to demonstrate my understanding of the reading skill retelling.

Queen Alyss and Redd, the "rightful ruler" keep battling each other for the throne. King Arch, the ruler of Boarderland, decides to take advantage of their squabbling and detonates a imagination bomb that renders the Heart Crystal and imagination powerless. This forces Redd and Alyss to depart Wondertropolis, the capital city of Wonderland, and gather up those loyal to Alyss to fight for the coming war.

Alyss and Redd combine forces to make an unlikely combination as their needs grow more desperate. Once imagination is restored, they banish King Arch forever, and take back the Heart Crystal, the source of all imagination. Alyss decides that for one person to have control over the Heart Crystal will tempt them to use it inappropriately, so Alyss resolves to destroy it and Redd, restoring imagination forever and permanently in the queendom.
